Atul Paulson What the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve-Napoleon Hill.

Grateful that in a open forum in the book club which my brother runs for his students i could express my views about this statement made by Napoleon hill whose work by the way i admire a lot, Bu as i move through life i find that i found myself disagreeing more and more about this phrase among all the things i question . Was not so fond of voicing my opinion about this phrase as such as it was not my job to do so, But i was sitting there and people were asked what is the single most inspirational phrase or quote that they heard and discuss why it inspires them so much most of them said this one , Grateful that i got a chance to prove why i disagree with this statement as i think this statement more than empowering us it plants a seed of doubt in our mind. I asked one of the biggest fans on Napoleon Hill in the room which would be my brother and placed a normal balloon in front of him and told him burst the balloon and i said to him what the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve so i told him say this statement in your mind and burst this balloon, he hesitated for a few seconds i said normally you would have burst this balloon without doubt, but now you have some doubt why

i can understand the situation and way i was saying it to him all could have effect on the decision he made. However i'm grateful for seeing things with more clarity and making choices which according to my present level of awareness is the best i could make, Have a nice weekend friends love and light!!!!!!!!
