Inspired by...

“Islands in the Sky”


During a Sunrise … The soft red and peach colored clouds looked like ‘Islands in the Sky’ and much to my delight, this celestial canvas also provided a golden harbor that was perfectly nestled in the middle. My joyful eyes would breathlessly scan the sky, so as not to miss any part of this heavenly wonder. Yet, my senses were always drawn back to that inviting and peaceful haven, for I could not resist the curious strength of this beckoning! Ironically, it seemed modestly cloaked within a whisper. Yet, I am grateful to say … This early morning sky has ingeniously awakened my imagination and sense of adventure.

Today, There were many Islands and A Cove … so I will ‘Set Sail.’

In my mind … I instinctively navigated my way to a friendly little cove that beckoned me with the promise of peaceful serenity and rest. Once there, I busied myself with lowering the sails and setting my anchor. Ahhhh … tasks finished and now time to ‘just be.’
While the gentle rocking of my boat was lulling me, my eyes were drawn to the lazy flow of a humble little wave steadily moving towards me. I was impressed and intrigued with how easily it glided upon the water’s surface in a mesmerizing spray of dazzling glitter. I was dreamily content and instinctively knew that it was a friendly wave only wishing to join me in this moment of quiet anticipation … so together, we could greet and welcome the promise and warmth of yet another, Golden Sunrise.

Everyone needs a Friend to share those beautiful and most inspiring moments with ~ yes?

So … I ‘Share it with You, ... “My Great Big Family of Friends.”
