Hey Valorie!! I'm originally a Jersey girl too!! Raised lots of "heck" in the city in my teen yrs. And that was long time ago- 60's. The Village was just a sleepy hippie haven, saw lots of what are now famous singers in the coffee houses and bars down there...... my friend and I skipped every Wed. in our jr. yr. and hit the city for the day!! Staten Is. ferry, Hoboken was remodeled into a nice place.......whoooha, lotsa good memories!!
