Sonya "Happy Girl" As I lean upon a big oak tree,
The smile of God is unpon me,
Do I chose the life of what I see
Or do I choose the life of unity?
I looked at the flower, the sky and the frog,
the bird, the ant, the fly and the dog
My feet rested firmly on the earth
It's been that way since my date of birth
I breathed the air, I really loved the smell
The wind rustles my senses, it's spring I can tell
The sun's warmth tingled my skin a bit
I thought it would stop, no it never did quit
The sun just glared and seemed to be proud
But off in the distance was a magnificent cloud
And the peace and calm overshadowed my face
Here under this tree, in my special place
My very first date with destiny, too beautiful to even mention
It's here I choose to walk with God and leave behind all my decisions
So everytime I meet pain, shame, hurt and disappointment on my way
I think about my choice to walk with God that very special day
So none of these emotions or illusions or things I choose
If I keep my mind on the creativity of God, I know I will not loose.
So Everytime a problem arise I see it as the test
to determine what means the most to me, yes It's God who I see as the best
The perfection of life itself, the joy of a happiness and inclusion
I blink my eyes and I be darn, what happened to the sad illusions
So here I lean again, up under the big oak tree, thanking God for all his provision
Because I choose the love God, away went my problems, choices and decisions.

I love you forever, "Happy Girl"
