I have heard this story way to often as the psychotherapist.
I am glad that you shared this story and that this businessman knows what a special person he is. In my experience, "nerds" become some of the most acclaimed people in our socieity and without them we would have to live with a lot less, e.g. Bill Gates. If we could all grow up to be so giving and generous as he is. Not only did he invent a computer, he gave jobs to thousands of people, and then choose to dedicate his life to be a philantrophist, giving away 8 million dollars a YEAR! So nerds should be held in high self-esteem. Namaste
