A Ho'oponopono Prayer:
" Dear Father,
Beloved Creator, in whom I rest and abide and have my being, I thank you for giving me another day in which I learn your way and your creation. I'm sorry for forgetting you and who I really am and my real purpose here on Earth. I love you and I thank you for your love and for reminding me I am created in your image, a magnificent spiritual being, a splendid light being.
Even though I do forget, I deeply and completely forgive myself and anyone else who may be involved and I resolve to be more careful about the quality of thoughts I allow to gain entry in to my mind dimension. I resolve to seek and welcome love, courage, hope, diligence, care, and compassionate thoughts and to clean erase all negative thoughts against myself and other people. Even though I allow negative thoughts into my mind, I deeply and completely love, accept and forgive myself and anyone else who may have contributed to this.
Dear Memories, you are the negative voice of my ego and the source of all difficulties. I'm sorry you are still there, as I know I am unable to silence or remove you until I can completely let go of the past and its false past memories and the mental programming I learned. But even though you are still there, causing havoc in my life, I deeply and completely forgive, love and accept myself and everyone else involved. I know I can now ask my Creator to clean erase you from my consciousness and so I will take full responsibility for you, Dear Memories, whatever you may be and wherever you may come from, and for all my thoughts of my ancestors which are responsible for your being there. I do love you for your positive intent and I thank you for providing me the opportunity to take control and to establish dominion over my mind; but now I ask you, won't you please let go? Your work is done, you are no longer necessary. So, please let go, you are free to leave me now, I give you permission to leave. I ask my Creator to clean erase all these negative memories and to erase all their effects in every place and time. Even though I know I am responsible for these memories, I deeply and completely forgive, love and accept myself and everybody else involved. “
