You are the marble and the sculptor. But you don't need to suffer when you peel off the things that made you suffer in the first place. Somewhere in the past you started doing something 'to survive'. But that's years ago now. You can stop reacting and acting the way you did in that old situation. You're grown up now. Start putting yourself on the first place. You won't loose anything. Instead you'll win and are able to give even more.
Remake yourself and feel the joy instead of the suffering.
To put yourself in the first place you need to take responsibility for yourself. Take care of yourself. You'll grow; the marble will become more visible.
