John Alexander I am so thankful that God is always there for us. Do you ever feel like somehow God has left you off in the distance? Just remember that if you are in relationship with God, through Jesus Christ, then how close we feel to God does not even matter.
Our "feelings" are not an indicator of His presence or His closeness.
He is closer to you than your very breath and he never sleeps. No one compares to Him because nothing can ever take Him unawares. We can trust in the one we know, by His own promises. He is so close - just believe Him (whether or not you feel like it.)
Nothing can ever separate us from Him because He says that He loves you with an everlasting love. Receive an encouraging word as you read this.
His love never fails.
Now my prayer for you as you read this, is that you be renewed and greatly encouraged by His own Spirit and that you'll maintain that first love.
