Wow! This is truly amazing. I've been working on building a deck in my back yard with my youngest son this summer. I've had to learn to be a handy person due to the fact that I've been on my own with the kids for about 20 years, and I do some small reno and decorating jobs on the side once in awhile (just for friends and family, not professionally). I think that we were destined to meet, and what better place to share our souls than on GLog. We have to get to know each other!

I have another project that I'm working on that you may be able to help me with. It's sort of a survival guide for single parents, but I'm not sure how to build a beginning that will link the whole thing together well enough so that it doesn't sound like a survival manual...I want it to sound more like Erma Brombeck (I think that's how to spell it) than single parenting for Dummies! What do you think? Is collaboration a possibility? Before you say yes or no, you probably should get to know me better, but I have a strange feeling that we already know each other pretty well.
